Erotic Art Photography vs Pics of Some Dude's Dick

Where to draw the line? This issue seems to come up almost immediately on every single one of my sites that involves erotic content. Thus far I have tried to err on the side of tolerance, removing only the poorest-quality, most uncreative and nauseatingly narcissistic examples. But recently I've started to get some negative feedback from other users that echo my feelings about the issue so I'm putting it out there for the community to discuss.
On the one hand, I recognize (and try to compensate for) my own bias toward images of the female body. I wouldn't want to cheapen the artistic atmosphere of this site by trying to push an oppressively hetero-male agenda. Presumably there are some people browsing this site who are into it and can't get enough of the dick galleries. Why should I hate on their enjoyment, right?
On the other hand, the phenomenon of men posting photos of their weenies on the net is a force that is well-established, well-documented, and should not be underestimated. If left unchecked I think that it could (and already has) have a negative affect on this community. The vast majority of people, even among those who are into men, do not react positively to a bunch of net-creeper webcam dick photos.
Please post your feedback here, or you may email me privately to discuss.

As a personal preference, I don't go in for disembodied, objectified body parts of either gender - such material tends to remind me more of college anatomy lessons and illustrations in textbooks rather than anything I would ever find exciting, as I prefer to see a character, an individual, a face, a story, whatever. I appreciate that many people do, however, find renderings of such things artistic and even erotic. I find it hard to comment on a subject that leaves me cold, but I'm tolerant enough to recognize that first-class photography, quality lighting and a real artist's eye for composition goes a long way.
P.S before I migrated the bulk of my work here, I spent 2 years on Deviantart, and the problem there is pretty much identical. Narcissistic camera-phone whores of both sexes who argue that because it's not AGAINST the site rules, it must therefore be art - or is art because they say it is... :-/
P.P.S just as an aside, I remember reading books by a prominent British erotic photographer from the 80s - Barry, I think his surname was. And while his "How to" guide book was filled solely with classy pictures of women, his introduction made it clear that erotic photography need not a) feature women, b) involve nudity of any kind, c) even involve the human body at all. What I'm saying is that the material you object to could easily have a detrimental effect on passers-by and would-be members as well as existing members, and spread a negative perception of the site elsewhere as "just another place for weirdos to show off" (in the way that lately, Deviantart has gained a reputation for being "just a place for manga porn fans and furries to hang out"). Neither perception is true of course but first glances are very important. It might help to see more variety on the site - more gay art, more non-figurative art, more symbolic art. This variety might encourage others of differing persuasions to join up, but who may be put off by a proliferation of poorly-shot dick webcam snaps and such.
