Creating oil paintings has become Peter's untamed passion since September 2005. Painting is like nourishment for him; if not fed adequately, he feels sub optimal. Because many hours are spend in his studio weekly, Peter is nourished well! Although having experimented with landscapes and such, painting people fascinates Peter, children and women in particular. Children because of their innocence and women because they simply attract him very much... Recently however, Peter discovered to be attracted most by creating paintings with a certain degree of erotic/sensual tension. Why? Love or plain sex often comes like a game. A game of pray and predator. Sometimes it’s difficult to distinguish the pray from the predator. The predator is dressed up for the hunt. High heels, stockings and silk lingerie are almost a guarantee for catching the pray. Like those flesh eating tropical plants, the predator opens her legs.
